<p>I'm sure the next post would have been someone saying that such and such person who won a gold medal at the IMO was rejected from Harvard, so I'm just going to throw that out there first. Moral of the story -- no, you're not guaranteed. But assuming you've got everything else -- good essays, grades, test scores, and some decent ECs, you've a way better shot than the average applicant. And yes, you PROBABLY will get in.</p>
