Chemistry placement test

Hey CCers, I had a question about the chemistry placement test. How hard is it and does anyone know of any practice tests? I found the chemistry placement test page but there wasn’t any practice tests unlike the math placement. I have to take the test in 2 weeks so i want to try and study for it. I’ve only taken honors chemistry as a sophomore and I remember almost nothing about conversions.

Hey , did you receive any e-mail regarding when you are taking your Math placement and Chemistry placement? Like what date? Do we have to register for it by ourselves? Or Davis will tell us about when are we suppose to take the test?

Thanks!

I already took my math placement. It was sent through email. I don’t know what’s going on with the chem placement.

Hey Meitou…i wanted to ask you about the math placement test. How many questions were there? and was it really hard?

Meitou , was it hard? And Davis didn’t send me any e-mail regarding that? Whats going on … What Math you got though?

Teeta1 have you tried checking your @ucdavis.edu account? Because while they didn’t send anything to my personal email account, they did send an email notifying me about the math placement exams to the ucdavis one. :)

the math was hard but i passed it with a 30… i ran out of time and ended up pultting B for the last 30 problems lol

i was going to take the chem at davis but i was 6 min late and the lady didnt let me take it… fat ****

how wa the chem one

When I took it a couple years ago, all I did was look over chemistry review notes to jog my memory. I got a high enough score to take the honors series if I wanted to (I didn’t, but that’s besides the point). This was after being a couple years removed from high school chem. So I would recommend looking over reviews to jog your memory before taking it, but overall it isn’t very difficult.
