soooo i just realized i needed to take the chemistry placement test for my major (mech engineer) and it says i need to take it before august 1st....

the problem is that im traveling from july 25-->august 1st.... and I know basically nothing about chemistry cuz i took regular chem in highschool during my sophomore year.....

so should i just take the test and leave it blank ??? i know for MAE major people the first chem class you take is 6a... so would my low score put me something lower than that or put me automatically to 6A?

Iran's answers are as pointless as his questions.

Just take the chem test tomorrow. It's about 30 questions. If i remember correctly, the first 10 questions are math. The next 10 ask questions about neutrons, electrons, and blah blah. The last 10 are the harder math/chem stuff.

Don't worry about it. If i can get 94% so can you. Btw, i never took honors or ap chem.

i know someone who took the placement test and scored like 44% on it and still took chem 6a. And no, your low score won't put you in a lower class.

so i took the test and i got a 66% forgot all about mass of substances, volume and pressure and i still got recommended for honors chem... yea right

Where do u find the link to the chem placement exam? and also, do u have to take it if ur not a science major? I'm a management science major and I dont need any chemistry courses, or any science courses at all, to fufill my major.

I took the test yesterday and had AP Chem my Junior Year. I got a 51%, and I didnt do anything in that class. I'm kinda mad now at my teacher cuz that has really screwed me over in the long run. My friend even brought his PSP to class and played it in front of her. But back on track, I was recommended Chem6A or Chem4, and I'm not sure which one to do...
Also, after completing the test, did anyone else still put in a check next to the option "Yes, I will take the test" or something along those lines, even though you may have already completed the test?
