Is it too late to take the chemistry placement test? So if we don't take it are we automatically placed into CHEM 6A?

bump i didnt take it yet i doubt its important u take it online and its 30minutes long

No, according to UCSD, you just need to take it at least 48 hours before your class schedule appointment.

which, im guessing, is in august?

but it also said ucsd students had to take it before june 18...or is it just continuing students?

entering freshmen have to take it if they want to take a chemistry course at UCSD. Your advisor/counselor uses the results for placement, but the results don't go in your permanent record or anything. They say that you should have it done by June 18 so that they get the results in time for the June orientation.

has anyone else tried to take this yet? For days it wouldnt let me take it. And then finally, one day, the exam came up, I spent forever on it, and when i clicked to submit my answers, it said that they were not currently accepting submissions. Why would they do that to me? ;(

because they think all ogres are ugly. even though we know its not true.
