Any suggestions for a book of practice tests for the chem test??ie like RUSH for math, etc??I basically need to keep my brain from turning rusty before the nov. test date!
Thanks

I used PR’s, Barron’s, McGraw-Hill’s, and Kaplan’s. It should have been around 10-15 tests in total, I think?

Okay…problem is…ive used up PR,barron’s and sparknotes for the jun test where i got a 750. So im in a fix what book to use now! How were the kaplan’s in difficulty level? Coz i did its math and it was easier than barrons and PR

Kaplan is harder than PR but easier than Barrons for Chemistry.

Also take the Chem Olympiad Tests, which are a great complement. Make sure you know how the SAT II for Chem is structured… with the statement section where you have to choose whether statement I/II or Both are correct and if II is a consequence of I.

Sparknotes tests are also a +

Yea if your running low on practice tests take the USAChO qualifying tests…not the actual USAChO (The USAChO is wayyyyy harder).

^ Yeah. And the tests are tiered, so theres the regional test (i think), which is usually much easier (and covers material actually taught in an AP Chem class) and then there’s the national exam, which is…impossible?

Thanks for the advice guys.Im sure 'twud have been real useful…only im an international student. ![]()
And in my plc,the regional is almost as tough as the national. But anyway, can i still access the USACho?? could you guide me on how to do that?

here’s the link for the USAChO Tests, local and national, since 1999
