Chemistry Readiness Assessment

I have to take the chemistry readiness assessment exam to determine whether i get placed in Intro to chem or General chem 1 for my first semester.

ok, last time i took a chemistry class was my 10th grade year in high school and i dont remember much from it.

Will it look bad that i took intro to chem if im doing premed or does it not matter as long as i get all my requirements done? what are the negatives that are going to come from this if i have to take intro to chem??

Most premeds take intro to chem. Don't worry about it.

I should make something clear, sorry. I'm assuming that your "Intro to Chem" is what most places would call "General Chemistry". If this is not the case, (i.e. if it's lower than most schools' genchem) then you might be facing a (fairly small) problem.

thanks a bunch

Assuming you go through and do well in general chem I don't think having taken an "intro" course will be that big of a problem. Not every high school gives the same background, and students sometime enter colleges with deficiencies.
