Chemistry SAT II: January 2011

Discuss. 10char

what was the answer for Le Chatelier’s principle question?? The one which asked which

way the equilibrium will shift when the solution is placed in ice water.

I chosed B

Is that the choice that states that the pressure will go up? If so, then I chose that one as well.

Were there lots of F,T in TTCE section??

I got a few F/T here and there.

Did you guys have a question about finding the density of a liquid?
Was that a significant figure matching question??

What did you guys put as the answer? I put 1g/ml but I think its wrong cuz apparently there were answer choices like 1.0 or 1.00, which requires significant figures matching.

Is this true?

i got 1.00

Er…I got 1.0 cos the volume is in this decimal?
I got 3 TTCE in total.
Can someone pls tell if the test is harder / easier than normal?

what was the one like:
what is the result that gives a gas product?
was it like CaClO3+H2CO3? or something like that?

I guess glass is SiO2 and ozone layer is CF2Cl2

I dont remember other ones lol

yeahh I guess that one is right CaClO3+H2CO3 cuz CO2 comes out from it

But I am not sure lol

actually it’s 1.001

The ozone layer = O3

Chloroflourocarbon (freon gas) deplete the ozone layer.

come on guys lol no one wants to discussssss chem! :frowning:
Well, I got two TT CE and I got some F/T.
I got a 660 on a sparknotes test and 750/780/730 on princeton review ones. Hopefully, I get 750+. I am assuming the curve will be really generous because not many people took it? what do you guys think

When I took Chemistry SAT earlier this year, I only got 650ish on Sparknotes, whereas I got a 750-780 on Princeton Review.

what did you get on actual test?

760…10char
