Chemistry SAT II Question

The formulas section has a periodic table with charges to memorize (search for the phrase “wishy-washy” to find the table right under it). It shows several transition metal cations. My question is, should we memorize those cations and their charges?

Also, I hope one day they will separate the forums into individual ones by subject test.

Please... someone... help?!?

it's good to be familiar with those, though I can't remember all that much from the test I took in May.

I don't think you need to memorize them. Spend your time memorizing actual theories, not just numbers off of a table. And also, the SparkNotes guide SUCKS. I speak from experience (unfortunately).

I didnt memorize any, well some common ones that I became familiar with from chem class.. but I didnt take the time to memorize any of them

Machiavelli, could you specify for us what makes the Sparknotes guide suck? (I've been using it along with Barrons). Is it too basic? Lets hear your experience.
