I will be a junior next year, and I will be taking Chem 1. I need a science SAT II in order to be considered for some colleges; however, the way our school system works, I can't take AP Chem until Senior year. Is it possible to score a 700 or 750 on the Chem SAT II with a high-level, non-AP class? I would be able to devote at least 3 months to studying Barron's SAT II book or even the AP Chem book.

Yep I only took honors. Maybe started prepping 2weeks beforehand? Just get the princeton and study it up. I didn
t get really high or anything though (750?). I
m sure AP helps with getting higher scores.

I’m wondering this as well. I’m going to be self-studying for the SAT II chem test and I am aiming for an 800 with just the Barron’s prep book.
