I need to decide whether I really am going to take the Chemistry Subject SAT in October. it's the last month I can take Subject SATs before college apps. and I'll already be taking biology-M and Math 2. I think I'd have a lot more time and effort I could put in to studying if I were just taking two tests. But I also know some BS/MD schools require you to submit the Chemistry Subject SAT. (The only one I'm sure of regarding that is Northwestern HPME) Does anyone know other schools that they've applied to that ask specifically for your Chemistry Subject SAT scores? Please reply asap! Thanks :)

Between now and October, I’m sure you’ll have the time to do that research on your own - how hard is it to look at the websites of the programs you’re interested in and check whether they require the Chem SAT II?

Stop being lazy. look up the requirements for the programs you are interested in and decide if it’s worth it for you. Don’t expect the forum to go through the requirements for every program when you can easily do it for the ones you are interested in.

thanks for the reality check. i guess it is time to start doing my own research. i’ve started but there’s so many programs out there and i’m not exactly sure how i’m going to cross colleges off of my list and start narrowing it down. so i just asked on cc in case i happen to miss some program. but i’ll start researching…

Some online places aren’t updated and contain old, false information. And if you dont feel like searching through websites, you can just call admissions! Calling is easy

The websites for each program should be current. Once you have your list of programs, thei websites will give you most of the information you need.
