Chemistry Subject Test help??

Hi guys,

I’m planning on taking the chemistry subject test for the Northwestern HPME program.
When is the latest date I can take the exam? Also, when does the HPME application request form open and when does it need to be sent?

Also, I only have one year of H Chemistry and I’m currently enrolled in AP Chem. How much self studying (I have barrens and Princeton, which is better?) do you think I’ll need to get an 800?

I had all of Chem 1 H and AP Chem under my belt and took 4 practice exams and got a 790. So definitely set aside a lot of time to prep

What’d you use to prep? Scores on the practice test? Any general tips or exact things to focus on

I just googled practice tests and did those. I scored pretty poorly (650-750 range) on them bc the ones I found were a lot harder than the actual thing. Since you don’t have all of AP Chem under your belt, try to learn some of those concepts that are on there (equilibrium, rx rates, etc)
