hey has anyone taken the Chemistry subject test yet? if so, is it really hard? does anyone know how big the curve is? thanks for the help

I like the chemistry subject test. It's a lot like AP Chemistry (a good 50% I'd say.)

It's not that difficult. I did some studying and easily got 750 thanks to AP Chemistry. There's not that big of a curve though.

o ok, thanks. but I heard its 85 questions long. was that hard to do in an hour?

Not at all, many questions require very little time, because they ask you whether you know the answer or not. I would recommend to pay more attention to the cause-effect questions, there you can make careless errors very easily if you don't understand the phenomena.

alright good, thanks. so you guys took ap chem? or just regular chem?

I took it in June, and got a 800 (APChem 5, May) so definitely APChem is more than sufficient preparation for the Subject Test. I don't recall being particularly tight for the time, but the questions about "is that a correct explanation" were definitely annoying, so watch out for those I guess.
