chemistry textbook

which book should i get among zumdahl, chang, and brown (chemistry the central science). The book by Brown has a highest rating on amazon, but does it explain stuff in layman's term?

I've used Brown's this year. I find it very easy to understand with plenty of examples. The solution manual is also great since it not only gives you answers to problems ion the textbook, but also works out the problems.

I had the blue Brown's book. It's not new, but it is more than enough for the AP. I don't think it really matters if you get the newer one or older one.

We used zumdahl in class, i did not think it was so great. the explanations were not very good, and i think the authors are not very intelligent.
