Chemistry vs. Physics

So,
Here is my deal. I have never been a science person, but because i want to apply to carnegie mellon and MIT for Computer scoence, I am required to take a Subject in science. I don't like Biology so my only options are chemistry. To me, and most other chemistry is the easier option. I have taken regular Chem, got an A- both semesters, i took last year as a sophomore. I have not and am not going to take AP Chem. i know it is possible to get a high score without taking AP Chem. if i were to choose chem, i would self study most likeley with the barrons book over the summer, and take the test next october of mY senior year. My other option is physics. I am more interested in physics and i think it would look better to college but I haven't taken any Physics courses because of my schedule at my school. Because of this my plan is to take regular physics over the summer at the local community college. If i choose physics, i will take the course and self study with the barrons book over the summer and take the test in october. I also don't plan on taking AP Physics B or C. Which one should I take? I think the smarter choice would be chem, but i am not a 100% sure, what would be the better choice?

Up to you. As far as I know, way more people take Chemistry than Physics. Physics has a better curve, and it shouldn’t be too hard to score an 800 if you know what you’re doing. Chem, on the other hand, is quite difficult to get an 800 on, as the curve is less forgiving.

Take which one you are most interested in pursuing in college.
