I have the barron's book...can somebody rate this? How much did it help you and was it more, less, or about the same difficulty as the real test.

Also, I'm considering buying the PR book as well...how much did this book help you guys?

I don't know about Barron's...

But I used PR. It's really all you need, as long as you've taken a regular Chem course. PR is awesome.

PR was really good.

Barron's covers a lot of stuff that won't be on the real thing. But overpreparation can be a good thing.

I'm not sure overprep is necessary on the SAT II Chem though.

ok so i'll go get the PR..just wondering, are there any english units of measurement on the chem test? Barron's seems to cover english-metric conversions...but having english units on the chem test would be somewhat ridiculous, can anybody clarify?

Metric. Science is always in metric.

A+ to the barrons book. Tests were extremely accurate in format and content. It also helped me review for topics not covered in AP chem. The practice test is slightly harder than the test, but when you see the real test your confidence will go up after taking those harder tests. One question on the test was right from the review book!
