chemistry

i want to major in chemistry and then go on to get a phd prolly

how much physics do i need to know?
i dont plan on doing physical chemistry or much related to physics, maybe organic/inorganic

any ideas? parents? the level of physics needed for a student who plans on getting a phd in chemistry

thanks

You need a 2 semester calculus based physics course and you pretty much have to take at least a semester of p-chem and semester of p-chem lab. This is bare minimum for top rated programs.
