last few days and hours of studying for finals - the stress is at a peak. An eerie quiet descends over the campus as students stumble like zombies to and from the libraries, reviewing and memorizing and cramming. Everyone reaches their nadir at some point - even if most sit quietly and quake.

ugh how possible is it to learn all of the last third of the material in 2 days :(

3 finals monday, then this one thursday
:(

aww cummon guys! this whole peptide thing has turned out to be a big tease…and CA, AA, Amides,… all work in pretty much the same way

peptides isn’t that bad, i feel like the learning curve is fast but we just have to be extremely careful when doing problems because you have to consider so many things

i’m so stressed out for this final though, i need a pretty high A to get an A i think :(

I feel like I have spent the last 3 years doing PS #11.

that took me 12 hours, lol

no joke

awesomeee. is that one on carboxylic acids?
I felt like I understood the last couple lectures pretty well… those questions can’t be too tricky can they?

@flutter: they were alright, they incorporated a lot of midterm 2 knowledge though

@leftist: lols, maybe i’ll try that

can someone help me? second page of predict the product midterm 2…how does one make the 6 member ring. i’m stuck with two double bonds…

what page is suppose to provide us the info about the peptide stuff?

Batman is it the first problem on the second page of PTP? Its a Robertsonion annulation reaction.

wait leftist, does this mean the final was super hard for your year?

Anybody know how much he is gonna incorporate material from the past 2 sections? It seems like all his problems are from just this section, but he will sneak in a few reagents from the past. Like do you think we will need to review MO diagrams and aromaticity rules?

yeah for sure we do lol, it’s a cumulative final, however he said that in class of course the last section stuff will be emphasized

T-T…damn you pedersen! It’s 4:30 and I swear the only thing keeping me alive to study for chem, bio and physics is Lady Gaga and monsters.

Also anybody know if BioE society will have a review?

uhm wow i am getting owned by problem set 11

in class, Pedersen: “Don’t worry about Chem 3A stuff.”

but ***, there’s a lot of chem 3a stuff on all of his finals in the problem sets

newman projections and gauche interactions? is he just doing something new this year and not including it? or wut?

ugh… so much to cover… don’t know where to put more time into…
