<p>I'm interested in fly-in-fly-out roles within the mining industry, but as a ChemE, I'm afraid I may not qualify for mining engineering roles at mine sites besides mineral processing (which I suspect may not necessarily be located on site). I will graduate next year.</p>
<p>I'm thinking of applying to a masters program (coursework based) in mining engineering in order to gain more comprehensive knowledge in mining engineering and develop industry contacts through the school's co-op program. </p>
<p>Thoughts?</p>
