<p>Does anyone know if there are Chess Scholarships. An old thread (from years ago) had someone write that there were lots of Chess Scholarships available. Whatever you know could be helpful... who provides them and how apply? Thanks</p>
<p>UT-Dallas, UMBC, UT-Brownsville, and Texas Tech are the top college chess programs in the country. All four offer scholarships, but you need to be very very good.</p>
<p>Other places probably offer scholarships too, though I’d guess the amounts are highest at the most established programs.</p>
