<p>I am a current MAPSS student and attest to the fact that it is worth the debt. Many people even get at least partial funding to help defray the cost at least somewhat. Your chances of getting into a top rated PhD program are hugely better with a degree from a school like UChicago. It proves you’ve got the academic chops to do high-level research.</p>
