Rejoice, @Cue7 ! I know nothing of the methodology of this ranking, but I believe Chicago also does shockingly poorly in Forbes’ college rankings, which leads me to believe there’s something a little bit off in the Forbes way of looking at the educational world. More sizzle than steak?
I apologize if this sounds like a personal attack. But doesn’t every @Cue7 post sound like that he is rejoicing at downfall of U of C? His animosity towards U of C and his bias for UPenn are really striking to even a casual observer.
@85bears46 - I encourage you then to see responses to my UPenn threads, then, where posters like @Much2learn and others have decried my animosity to UPenn and my favoritism toward uchicago!
Funny how posters with allegiances to different schools assume favoritism/bias when others critique those schools.
To be fair, Cue’s schadenfreude (er, critique) extends to every educational institution which isn’t H or S, though for all I know he dishes those two as well in their own forums.
@anaesabc Ask and you shall receive. The only ranking that really matters – right or wrong and for good or bad is USNWR. Chicago Booth was third with HBS and Wharton tied for first. Any business school ranking that does not have HBS as first is a dirty communist lie straight out of Hanoi. And Forbes also has MIT as 9th ? Seriously. There is a consensus that HBS, Wharton, Chicago, Stanford and MIT are the top 5.
Since when is there consensus that Columbia is a top 5 law school? I agree that Chicago is a clear #4, but I think the next group is a peloton without much differentiation.
