Since U Chicago has early action, you can apply to as many EA and RD schools as you want. Only Harvard, Stanford, and Yale limit your number of EA schools.

I think your chances at Chicago are very good, especially if you write good essays. Your courseload, GPA, and test scores are awesome, and your ecs show commitment (including a scattering of awards). You picked an awesome school for physics- you can't get much better than Chicago's physics program. :)

excellent :)
if I may cahnge the direction of this thread slightly, do you happen to know much about the physics program? how accessible are the professors? are there good opportunities for undergraduate research?

Not very much. I'm more of a chemistry person. You should contact the physics department directly. The Chicago professors were always very prompt about returning my e-mails, and they can tell you more about the program than we can! Plus, showing interest in a school is always a really good idea (hint, hint).

very and yes

It depends on the university. Some schools have EA in which you can only apply to only that school early, no others. However, schools like the University of Chicago have the EA practice in which you cannot only just apply to Chicago early, but other schools early as well if you like (that is if you aren't violating the early admission policies of the other schools).
