Chicago EA Transfers - Credentials showing up?

I submitted 3 letters of rec, one in early Feb., one in late Feb., and one around March 2nd.

Only one is on the credentials site. I'm FREAKING OUT O_O

It took a really long time for mine to show up. I ended up calling and emailing; evidently there was a mix-up, and the cover sheet (UChicago's form) got separated from the actual recommendation. Anyhow, mine are up now. I also sent mine in early.

Yes, you might want to call. Chicago lost one of my teacher recs last year.

I sent my application in on February 27th and I still can't find any link for checking credentials... should I be worried? there is a transfer application blog, people have been asking questions about credential checking, but nowhere is there a straight response.

I mailed stuff from overseas, so naturally I'm nervous that perhaps something didn't get there... ohh, too much stress!

how do u check credentials?

any link?

I called the admissions office.

Here is what they said:
- They have lots of unprocessed stuff.
- My two letters from a month ago and two weeks ago are probably there and unprocessed.
- They had to stop processing transfers to deal with first year credentials and admissions for a while.
- They will contact us if our files are incomplete after processing.

Is it not odd that they are still processing credentials, yet they hope to send out decisions by mid to late March?

Early Alternative transfer decisions are generally mailed in mid- to late-March.

I do not think that will be happening.

Yeah, I don't know what to think about that.

argh, I can understand they must be swamped, and they're awesome to have a blog where we can ask them questions, but waiting is just killing me!

compounding my misery, I have just been wait-listed at my current school for my accomodation for next year :(

Two of my letters are now up. I may call about #3.
