The daughter is getting very anxious for Unifieds. After two on campus auditions she realizes that she prefers the terrifying pace of unified auditions. The on campus auditions are exhaustingly long days with a lot of sitting around.

So very excited to be going to Chicago Unifieds! Our family is SO ready to get these auditions DONE!

Son and I (mom) will arrive into O’Hare around 1pm-ish on Saturday. Staying at the PHH on the Exec. Level (although I’m bummed that the EL Lounge will be closed while we’re there… )

I prefer to not list his schools. His first audition is Sunday at 1 pm. He’ll do 7 auditions in 4 days. He’s hoping to do 1-2 walk-ins. We leave Wednesday afternoon.

Very happy that everything is self-contained at the PHH. That’s why we opted to go to Chicago vs. NYC…also a longer schedule. Looking forward to meeting other CCers there.

We will be there as well, flying in from the deep southwest (where it’s 75 degrees outside–I think I need to buy a coat for this trip)! Because of our distance from MT schools, D will be doing all but one of her auditions at Chicago Unifieds. She did Baldwin Wallace last weekend with my husband, who came home and promptly got the flu–he’s still down for the count. Luckily D is staying healthy so far. Fingers crossed.

We are arriving in Chicago late Thursday to give us Friday as an emergency bad-weather-flight-delays-or-cancellations buffer day. D has two auditions scheduled every day starting Saturday and going through Wednesday. It’s going to be a long, exhausting week, but we couldn’t see how to do it any other way when none of the schools are in driving distance. We’re just doing everything we can to prevent illnesses and germ spreading around here–husband has been quarantined to the bedroom since Sunday night, and we sanitized the entire house with hospital strength wipes, lol.

Sincere wishes for good health for everyone–the flu is brutal this year. Best things you can do to stay healthy is wash your hands with soap for 30 seconds, use Purell often, and don’t touch your face (or anyone else’s). Even if you had a flu shot – we all did, and that didn’t stop it, though I think husband’s symptoms are milder than they might be without the shot.

Can’t believe this is finally happening! Excited for it, and also excited for it to be over. Break legs, everyone!

My D and I are flying in from California and get in mid-afternoon on Saturday. We are staying at PHH on the executive level.

She has a total of 8 auditions starting on Sunday and ending on Thursday. We then go to Michigan for 2 auditions, Friday and Saturday.

My D is just getting over a terrible cold. I told her I was probably going to embarrass her on the plane as I wipe down everything in sight. She is drawing the line at wearing a mask, lol.

We need to come up with a way to identify ourselves as CC posters. I would love to meet you all!

Driving in late Saturday - staying at a different Chicago Hotel the first night - and then moving to the PHH Sunday (long story).

D has a total of 8 auditions Sun-Thurs - and we bookended the trip with two on-campus auditions - one in Indiana on our way (sort of) and one in Michigan on our way home (really). I have no idea if she’ll decide to do any walk-ins.

Break Legs to everyone - and stay healthy! We have 2 on-campus auditions this weekend to get through, then a week of school… and then off for our whirlwind marathon audition week.

Looking forward to putting some faces to names!

Son and Dad flying in Saturday afternoon. They will be at the Palmer House. Two auditions Monday and Tuesday and one audition Wednesday morning, flying out Wednesday evening.
Auditions include: Otterbein, Point Park, UNCSA, Coastal Carolina and CMU. They will have a great bonding experience and a relatively easy schedule. Hoping son can squeeze in a walk-in or two.
Stay healthy all and BAL!!!

Hey all, I am not a parent I’m actually a student going to Unifieds & I’m a girl (lol). I actually live in the city so I am already here, but I will be driving downtown and I’ll be there each day.
I’m auditioning for Point Park, University of Oklahoma, Rutgers, Pace, and Syracuse. I am a transfer student so I have done this before if anyone has any questions. I wish you all the best of luck.

I am bringing my son & his friend for the TPAP auditions. They are both juniors, so this will be a “taste of Unifieds” experience for them. We will only be there Sunday. Good luck to all the CC family auditioners!

Hey Y’all from down in Florida!
D and I will be flying in Sunday around noon and staying at Palmer House. We are scheduled to fly out Wednesday eve. I am hoping that the weather holds…we have to get back to school on Thursday or Hayley is going to get in trouble due to attendance requirements.
Ithaca, Montclair, Rider, Pace, Ball State, Otterbein.
She would love to do walk-ins especially for UK schools, we will have to see if there are any openings. The schedule is very tight right now!

I’ll be attending Unifieds for UMich (whose dance auditions are at the Joffreytalk about nerve-racking!) and coming back the next day for the singing and acting audition. I wish everyone the best of luck! Break a leg!

Flying from Mississippi with D on Saturday, staying through Thursday. Eight auditions Feb 3-5 including CCM, Montclair State, BoCo, Drake, Viterbo, Hartt, PACE, and Otterbein. Hoping to do a few walkins but time is really tight. Looking forward to meeting all of you. Going to Phantom of the Opera Sunday Matinee!

S and I are flying in Sunday am and out Wednesday afternoon. He is doing CCM, Montclair, Ball St, Ohio Northern, Northern Colorado, Webster, Hartt. We are staying at the Palmer House. I really don’t like cold weather! We may not leave the hotel!
