Chicago Scholars Program-Onsite Conference

So this spring I got accepted into the Chicago Scholars Program. It was pretty selective as only about 298 got accepted out of 1100 applicants from the chicago area. The program provides workshops which help with college admissions process (writing personal staements, common app, the works..) Additionally the program has a conference in october where about 60 partner colleges come in to give us scholars interviews and review our applications as well-but the catch is that I can only pick 5 unis to get an interview with. So I would turn in my application in mid september so that the schools im interested in would get to review my app before my interview with them. So I came up with NU,UC,UIUC,Marquette, Loyola-the last two give decisions on the spot!! So my question is should I apply to NU and UC through Chicago Scholars or through their early programs? Since If I apply through chicago scholars I have till may to decide if I want to attend that Uni, whereas with early program I would be binded to that school-hence showing my interst and comitment to that school. (NU is my top choice)

How was your experience with Chicago Scholars? I got accepted to Chicago Scholars and Questbridge College Prep Scholars and I’d like to hear a firsthand experience.
