Hello. This will be our first year for Unifieds. Does anyone know if callbacks are conducted during the Unified audition dates, or is this round of auditions the final one? We want to minimize cost and time out of school but we sure don’t want to take off back home and be needed for the final day of the audition run. Thanks for the help!

Most MT schools conduct final auditions at Chicago Unifieds (all of the schools my D auditioned for in 2014 were final auditions and I only qualified the previous sentence with “most” because there seems to be an exception to every rule - but as far as I know, and have heard - MT auditions in Chicago are final) but I do know from following these boards that some straight theater schools do call back to campus for a final audition. Can anyone speak to that for @Dezdr? @artskids?
If Musical Theatre programs hold callbacks at Unifieds, they will be on the same day as your auditions. Many MT programs do not do callbacks at Unifieds. Typically, callbacks are more prevalent among schools doing walk-ins at Unifieds vs. scheduled auditions.
Minnesota/Guthrie and Rutgers/Mason Gross have on campus callbacks for their BFA Acting programs after the last round of Unifieds in LA, so late February/early March.
Oklahoma has callbacks on campus afterwards
Yes for on campus callbacks for Guthrie, Rutgers, Julliard. It appears Julliard is doing initial auditions in Chicago the week before Unifieds; the New York dates overlap.
