Chicago VS. Middlebury Vs. Berkeley

Any ideas on where I should go? I' interested in investment banking as a career.

Berkeley is the only one of those as far as I now that has a business school. Haas is a very good school, so if you made it into there then by all means that should be your top choice.

I think Chicago..specially if you major in economics there...it can't really get much better than that.

i agree with sheed if ur doing economics

other than that though
berkeley trumps chicago in business.
Chicago has no business program (but likeley great instruction)
berkeley on the other hand has one of the best business schools in the world

Middlebury feeds a huge number of its grads to top Wall Street firms.

What other criteria do you have? Social life, location, student body personality, overall academics?

I want a social life, but I am not interested in drinking/parties. I want to be around serious students, but not boring students. I want a rigorous academic environment, but I don't want to be working 24/7.

Realize that if you really want to get ahead in a business career, an MBA is almost certainly in your future. Wanting to be in business (if you plan to get an MBA) absolutely, positively does not require an undergrad Business degree. In fact, personally, I would suggest that you major in something else undergrad--there is no need to be all business at this point. My mother's undergrad major was Sociology (a useless degree, according to my undergrad business school bound "friend")...and she was able to choose between completing her MBA at UChicago or Wharton (she choose UChicago, incidentally).

I say choose the school that you will be happiest at--each school is academically excellent and will provide a strong student with fabulous postgraduate opportunities.
