b) learn to talk to girls... start with just friends before you try to move onto actual girls
c) Don't reffer to girls as "chicks"
d) Take care of yourself and how you look. You don't have to be a movie star, but put some effort into your grooming/hygience/physique... would you want to date someone who is ugly/smelly/fat?

<p>Columbia is loaded with girls. If you count barnard the ratio becomes at least 65/35 female to male, add in the fact that many guys at Columbia are uninterested in going out and meeting women, the ratio gets even more skewed, say 70/30 if not higher. The West End is probably the easiest pick-up bar in the city. If you can socially handle yourself, Columbia is bound to be friendly.</p>
