Hi guys,
I am currently a junior at a boarding school in New England. I am looking for a summer program to attend this year. Ideally the program is in the US and a program that provides boarding is a must, because I live in a rural area so commuting to a program is not an option.
I am not very interested in math/science/STEM. I enjoy English, creative writing, and humanities. I would love to pursue a career in social work, non profit work, childhood development/ education or pyschology in college. Are there any summer programs that focus on this area of study? I am struggling to find reputable programs that aren’t STEM focused.
I have a 3.7 gpa, so not awful, but I don’t think I could get into the Ivy League summer programs either. Thank you so much! Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
