child of faculty at MIT- how much does it help?

@nakoruru is right, MIT has a very generous faculty tuition program. If your child attends MIT, you get free tuition for all four years. If your child attends a different college, you get first year paid and 50% the rest of college. At least that’s what it was like twenty years ago. Harvard professors always looked on in envy. Harvard gives no tuition reimbursement; all they have is a interest free loan program. If you’ve got a college age child coming up, you can see how attractive it might be to move your teaching career to MIT. If only it were that easy…
