Childhood Memories

The best part was how carefree and wonderful everything was. Ice cream and lollipops and pink hair ribbons made the world just perfect.

I'm finally starting to feel that again- my friends and I now have time to actually play. Volleyball and basketball have become daily activities, and we hula-hoop, do cartwheels, get icecream, and jump on trampolines just like we used to when we were little. I'd forgotten how much fun it was to just play. I can't wait for this summer- it'll be amazing. The end of senior year is just like being a little kid again, except we've got parties, cars, and freedom.

My brother and I played with military MicroMachines. They're these mini soldiers, tanks, planes, ships, bases, etc and we'd make up battles and everything. I always made him be the 'bad guys' =)

Last I checked, they discontinued MicroMachines =(

Ooo! Legos! and Transformers!! Can't forget those!

I remember back in elementary school a lot of my friends and classmates had Lunchables for lunch and I always envied them because their lunch always looked so good while I just had a turkey sandwich and apple. I always begged my mom to get Lunchables whenever we went to a grocery store, but she never gave in and said it was unhealthy.

Wow you envied Lunchable people? I envied those whose parents made wonderful turkey sandwiches! Hahah. Lunchables are salty and school lunches tasted ugh. Both are unhealthy. Turkey sandwiches, on the other hand, ROCK!

Yep, I guess the grass is always greener on the other side, eh?
