The shows for kids suck nowadays... who remembers David the Gnome, Noozles, Elephant Show.

What were your Favorites?

What were your Favorites?

Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, Kablam!, DBZ, Dinosaurs, Life with Louie, All That...

Ding Dong School with Miss Frances, Howdy Doody, Pinky Lee, Officer Joe Bolton and the Three Stooges.

Yep. They really did have TVs back then.

hey, you know what? the composer for the music of Rocko's Modern Life is an alumnus of Grinnell College; where I will be attending this coming up Fall.

how sweet is that?

haha nice, had no clue. congrats on the acceptance :D

Have you actually watched any current children's TV programming? I certainly don't keep up with the shows, but there's no way you can deny the awesomeness of Yo Gabba Gabba.

rofl, i have never seen it but my buddy has a yo gabba gabba tshirt

Indeed!

Captain Planet! (Mighty Morphin) Power Rangers! Kablam!! All That! Rugrats!

What happened to all the good television shows?

I use to love the disney channel shows like Boy Meets World, Even Stevens, and Smart Guy.

"I use to love the disney channel shows like Boy Meets World, Even Stevens, and Smart Guy."

Now that makes me feel old.. i was in 7th/8th grade during those shows! I watched boy meets world before it was on disney :D

Oh man DOUG, Dinosaurs, Allllllll That! (I love that Kenan Thompson is on SNL now, anyone remember the Goodburger movie him and Kel made??) I also loved Wishbone, Bill Nye the Science Guy (I'm such a nerd), Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers-- the original where Tommy (green/white) and Kimberly (pink) were sooooo in looooove. Are you afraid of the dark? and the tv show based on the goosebumps books, Jett Jackson, Rocko's Modern Life, and when I was really little, Tiny Toon Adventures (Babs and Buster Bunny!... no relation). Basically most kids shows in the 90's were freaking awesome, compared to most of the total crap they have today.
I will admit I do watch Hannah Montana every now and then, though. (Stay away, it enthralls your mind!)
The family shows in the 90's were better too: what could be better than Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Step by Step or Boy Meets World?? TGIF man!

burgler09, I have no idea what shows you are talking about, lol.

hahaha :D Hannah montana is actually funny, the dad is hilarious! Eurekas Castle??

No one remembers elephant show??

skina-ma-rinkie-dinkie-dink-skina-marinki-doo I love yooouuu

I used to love that show! It was like, Sharon, ____ and ____ (names escape me now)

Another favourite of mine was Mr. Dressup (Canadian show, don't know if it ever made its way down to the US)

I remember the song from the Elephant Show, but I don't ever remember watching the show...

Mr Wizard, Eureka's Castle, Fred Penner, Fraggle Rock, Muppets (and Muppet Babies!), David the Gnome, Ren and Stimpy, Simpsons (my family's watched it since I was about 2 or 3), Tin Tin, Doug, Woody Woodpecker, Mr Dressup seems vaguely familiar, Tiny Toons, Rocko, Rugrats, PeeWee's playhouse, Mister Rogers, Reading Rainbow, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Herculoids, all the Hanna-Barbera and Looney Tunes shows, Animaniacs, ThunderCats, Flintstones, Jetsons, Dinosaurs, Bozo the Clown, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Mighty Mouse, Underdog...

omg, I have never met anyone who remembers Fred Penner. I have actually been trying to find fred penner on youtube but I can't find the show anywhere.

ren and stimpy all the way, and what was that show with the genius mouse who wanted to take over the world?

pinky and the brain!

Crap, how could I forget Scooby Doo (and a Pup named Scooby Doo!). And Speed Racer. Tom and Jerry. Fantastic Four. Two Stupid Dogs. I think my older brother was the one who watched Care Bears, not me. Alf. (dear god, I just found the motherlode on retrojunk). Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Heathcliff, Garfield, BeetleJuice, Inspector Gadget, Hey Dude, Smurfs, Snorks, Double Dare, You Can't Say That on Television, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Pinky and the Brain, Adventures of Pete and Pete, Aaah! Real Monsters, Gullah Gullah Island, Magic School Bus, Allegra's Window, Gumby, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Where in the World is Carmen San Diego, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Nick Arcade, Salute Your Shorts, Clarissa Explains it All. And there's a couple more I didn't feel like mentioning.

you watched a lot of tv.

seconds for david the gnome, fred penner and his awesome log, the elephant show (sharon, lois and bram) and the noozles. also necessary props to square one and 3-2-1 contact.
