Chinese people 2

that topic was quite hot so i just used this to attract chinese ppl in...haha....you are falling for this trick too?
ok, here it goes, i am a chinese exchange student in TX and had prieviously living in NY with parents. I have always been wondering ...just wondering..what would happen to me if my parents decided to stay here? would i be a banana? or an outcaster?
so i wanted to do this research program about comparing ABC(american born chinese, or american grow-up chinese) teens and teens like me, who is very Chinese, i like to describe myself in this way
anybody interested? i believe magazines and newspaper would be very interested in publishing our results.

and there is another very research program i come up with--comparing high school education in U.S. and China.Rumour says American high school education is great b'cuz they can do calculus, and truth proved that chinese students scored 800 easily on SAT maths. What leads to this? What will become of this? what can the school system change?
if you are interested, plesae email me @ shenmenghan@hotmail.com

of course, this is not only limited to Chinese people, i need YOur help~ and i believe we can make a difference~

Hey, my last name is Han too. :)

so you just randomly feel like doing a "study" ?

SAT math doesn't cover calculus.

my last name is Shen(the smae as Shanghai's short name), first name is menghan..
i don't randomly feel like a Study, i have thought about this for half a year and talked to newspapers, but this is the first time i talked about it here
even SAT covered cal, it doesn' t mean it can bring up american's maths sat score right? it is about the ways of solving problems that are different.
first time i see Princeton reivew for SAT 2 maths, i thought it taught people the most stupid approach to solve problems.
but knowing how to solve the test maths problem does it always means knowing how to solve the application problems? this is sth i am interested to find out

bump..........

Wow..you have replied to my post ~~~

you are from Shanghai ????

It is so nice here to meet a shanghaiese...

sori, i am not....
guangzhou, and proud to be..hehe..

Wait... is Shanghainese really a word?

And since when?

:)

Hey Mayflower, I am from Shanghai also, and we share the same last name. I thought it is pretty cool.

To HiWei:

....I can certainly tell you "Shanghaiese" is a formal word now, just like cantonese or something else.

However...I don't know since when...
