<p>ummm when colleges see that, it doesn't really count b/c they know chinese is your native tongue...like i'm chinese and i decided to chose other topics that I was more interested in, though they aren;t a gurantee 800</p>
<p>the answer is yes... some schools take your top two/three SAT II grades regardless of subject, so an 800 is an 800 no matter how you would look at it... though as peechypears mentioned there is that thing about native speakers taking their native SAT II language test...</p>

Yea You must be totally sure that you can get a 800 because getting anything lower might hurt you. If you take another language other than your native language, a lower score may help you more.</p>

<p>on another note, im of chinese descent, but have never lived in China. Should I take the SAT II for CHinese? Most of my chinese knowledge was gained in high school; I could only understand and barely write and read when I entered hig school.</p>
