Chinese Thread

we are in phase two of the campaign. charge.....
is the trend of chinese food changing in china? like less greasy, more nutritions preserved in food, mild spicy........

i think anyone returned home this summer definitely had some crazy eating experience. i really appreciate if you share it here

tangsdaily. Is ur CS sever still working?

good job tangsdaily. i think you've posted more in the past 3 days than i have in the past 3 months...:)

youknowme: 好好学习,天天向上. shooting all day long isn't the way to go...j/k

curruently reading: dracula by bram stoker and corelli's mandolin by louis de bernieres.
yes, we actually do have summer assignments...such a pain. but the books themselves are pretty good.

yep.the books are good. Since the vampire is ... lol. jk. tangsdaily, ur server is not working anymore. ok, i ll just eat my dinner instead of playing CS.

泻特,i have to read something called "from Brown by Richard Rodriguez"
i counted that i roughly have 3 weeks till school starts. sign......

i have intern works, playing cs cause too much noise that my boss wouldn't appreciate, he told me .
i have called 60 embassies over the past week just to invite them to attend Ode To Peace. tomorrow, i'll call them again to do some follow up reminders. very chanllenge to your body and soul

mannn, the budget to run Ode To Peace is not that much, we can't carpet both stage and special guests area, nor rent mobile bathroom. it pays to get congressman and senators to come out because of lobbyst's charge. american medias aren't intereted unless a huge fire blasts on the loaction. i'm worried it won't attract that much attention in order to promote peace and diversity.....

这几天灌水灌得江朗才尽, 想不出来东西写了。。。。。。哪位发个帖,我来顶一下

靠,打中文的都有了。。。
晕,有没有上海的啊......

Need a little help here ppl:
I attend high school in US, but i havent got the residentshipt....
therefore, i still belong to the international application pool....
my teacher told me it was my advantage of being in the international pool....is it true?

At the same time, can you guys predict my chances for the schools below:
JohnHopkins, Cornell, UWashington st.louis, MIT( -_-....),Columbia, Yale(...hehe)

Female....chinese(yeah....right, why would i come here if i'm not.....)
GPA: 3.8 unweighted...
Rank 1
One of the best highschools in NY state, which is also next to a very competitive university.....
SAT I: 700 Writing /800 Math/ 630 Reading ( i know it sucks.....)
SAT II: IIC 770, PHY 790, IC 720 (<---what a shame...),CHM 780
Chinese 800, BIo 750
APs; Chem 4, PHY 5, US History 4, Cal BC 5, Stas 5, Computer Sci 5,
Toefl: 660

......so, ppl, help!

i'm the only one posting right now. i'll give my opinions but don't take mine too serious. predicting chance is like predicting stock, funds, bonds...... you can win big or lost big. some dumb analogy.

anyway, there is a guy from shanghai here, he's highly intelligent, enrolled at Swarthmore college, america's toughest liberal arts to get into of course williams and amherst are included. he'll be around here if not but will in a few days, just keep posting and he'll 现身

you stats are very positive. you'll be able to qualify many top notch schools in the states if not limited to ivy league, stanford, mit.

you have a wide range of ap experience which will definitely help admissioners to know you better.

ok. so how old r utangsdaily. u sounds like older than us.

wow, daki scored 5 on comp sci ap. a lot of guys couldn't even do that, i don't have any gender discriminations. i just want to say that you are on a competitive track.
one question i'm curious to ask, is your high school private or public? different type of schools might have some slightly different outcomes.....

and i forgot to thank you for joining the thread. i'll 顶 your post as i promised

年龄不是秘密, 体重才是秘密。

我十九

索性在这里开一个中国人的分坛算了……

continue dinging daki's post
