yy,i don't know how u can stand it.i went jogging today and my legs are KILLING me now.

jinfx, wt do u mean I can miss more?

yryuan, haha I dun especially like Jay, just that my frd was somehow making fun w/ my name and made this name out, sorry to hv confused u =P

haha. van...isn't pain 'weaknesses leaving your body?' lol. it just means you pushed yourself hard, so you should be proud! don't worry, they'll stop hurting after like the first 3 times.
hey jayeez, i think jinfx was referring to the more generous curve on IIC...like with the curve, you can still miss a few questions and get a perfect score. on the IC, you can only miss 1, i believe, to still get an 800. right? anyway, if you've had pre-calc, you should probably try the IIC (maybe do a sample test for both?)

duhhhh, MathIIC is more difficult than MathIC, of courese you can miss more(and they curve more)! What's your point?
and jayeez, it's cool. Not many people can confuse me(well, people saying this are usually confused a lot ;) ) So you should feel lucky!
Talking about pains. I was framing a house yesterday. Got something stick into my hands. My right hand still hurts.

er..not necessarily. theoritically IIC covers more material than IC, but in less depth...so assuming most of everyone's taken more than algebra ii.. i would still think IIC's easier.

lol. hope your hand feels better. ahh, i want to be outdoors!

yea, i mean the curve is better. unless there's some math u dont understand on the 2c, there is no question that u should take the 2c

and the sat1 math is the same as the 1c anyway. isnt 1c not even offered in the US anymore?

salute! mission chicago is successful

Thx yuxuan. I can tell my english tutor really cares about me :) . and my hand feels sooooo much better when I see your smiling face! haha..
It's absolutely great to be outdoor! Don't stay in the library all day long...Well, actually, I usually either stay in the library or in the lab during weekdays. then lock me in my room during weekends. that's bad. ppl don't imitate me.

er..yuan, i think you misinterpreted my facebook picture. i'm the little guy at the bottom
so if you are a hot girl..feel free to send a picture over...haha.

DAMNNNNNNN I STILL DONT HAVE MY SAT SCORES YET

"a small percentage of scores is not yet available. If your scores aren't online now, check back on Saturday, October 29. " --www.collegeboard.com

ARGHHHHH I CANT WAIT TILL OCT 29!!!! WHY AM I AMONG THE SMALL PERCENTAGE?!?!?! IN THAT CASE I'LL HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE DEC SAT IN CASE I GET A POOR SCORE! damn collegeboard ><

OMG OMG OMG- You have the exact problem I have.
LOLOLOLOLOL

If my scores are good- i planned to register additional SATII tests and if they were bad I'd take them again. SO annoying.

You should also send Collegeboard a Howler (via email)

man...that's so frustrating...I want my scores so badly!!! everyone knows his/her scores now... >< I'm like...refreshing the cb page every 10 secs!

peeping into neighbouring nation China jayeez, i think u should call CB and find out. im stuck in the same situation...

I can recall when I took SAT this January I came into the same situation you all have. Maybe collegeboard grade American students first? I don't know. There is really not much you can do. Just be patience, and good luck!
and yuxuan, I am not a hot girl. I am a hot guy. I've always thought you were a guy though. Weren't the two people in the pix both guys? haha...jk...:)

callthecops2: I've just sent cb a mail! hope they'll reply soon!

yryuan: but all my frds hv received their scores already ><

maybe they sent out the high score last.

Can anyone offer me some sites I can check out that like, have teach-yourself Mandarin? LOL. I found this pdf. file with translations of Deng Lijun's "Small Town Story" with Chinese characters, translations and pronounciations. Do any of you know anything else like that?

And is knowing a second language in any way a hook for universities?

en..... a second language to hook universities? if you are of chinese orgin but raised in english speaking countries, knowing chinese wouldn't help in college application, that's just too common to for instatnce, american/canadian born chinese knowing chinese as a second language after english.
however, if you know a rare language like a chinese knows russian, or portugese, especially some dying language in africa, then the colleges are definitely hooked by the candidate.
in another way, a candidate can also prove that he/she is proficient in more than 2 languages by submitting some essays in different languages........

good luck

Oh Jayeez I know how you feel...coz the same thing happened to me last year in October and I waited an additional week. Everything will be fine though and just relax :)

Hey tang it seems that you guys had a pretty big gathering in Chicago? Any details??
