Chnaging test center on the last minute?

I am an international student taking the SAT's next Sunday. I registerred for the test in the US but due to some family issues I have to be home ASAP. CollegeBoard told me I could arrive at the test center at the day of the test and pay extra $20 for the change. Problem is, my spot is not guaranteed. I do have a priority over stand-byers but ut is still not guaranteed. I did horribley the last time and as you all know, this is the last opportunity to take the test for next year's admission.

What do you guys suggest I do? Do you have experience with such procidures? Have any pf you had problems doing ut in the past? Anything will be help*** here! Thanks!!

I've done this in the past and I had no problem getting a spot. The test site had extra test materials and let me take the test. However, I did this in the US - I don't know if the situation will be the same for an international test center (if they will have extra tests on hand)

You're flying across the world just to take the SAT?!?!?! WOW.... this world HAS gone CRAZY...

Haha, relax.. I didn't fly to the U.S. for the SAT's. I registered to take it here becuase I am here for other reasons.
