I am still figuring out which boarding schools i am going to apply to and in some previous threads i viewed, i saw choate and taft mentioned and i have never heard of them....are they good schools? Any information about them is great! thanks! oHHHH and also middlesex i heard that somewhere else thanks

Choate?

Good?!??

CHOATE Is GREAT! If you have ANY question, at all, feel free to PM me or put them up here on this thread. I’m going there next year as a new sophomore, I can answer lots of questions about applying and etc.

I suggest you send an inquiry to the schools and read more threads on here.

If you are just starting to compile a list, you may also want to consider Andover, Exeter, St. Paul’s, Deerfield, Hotchkiss, Milton, & Groton. They are arguably just as good if not better. (Please do not kill me for that statement, I said ARGUABLY.)

Good luck! :)

Choate is a pretty well known school and part of the Ten Schools association. It is one of the better known and more prestigious schools of the East Coast. While some may argue that the “HADES” schools are more academically rigorous, Choate definitely gives a fine education and sends students to an impressive range of universities and colleges each year. You should definitely take a look.

HADES is a really weird acronym… Choate… Hotchkiss… Hmm :/

Choate is more prestigious than Taft, but they’re both great schools. I’m surprised you haven’t heard of either; they’re both pretty well known.
