Choate?

I may apply to choate next year what are my chances of getting in?
-I play competive tennis player and am keen on squash
-School Squash team
-am an first honor roll student
-Student council
-I hold a tennis ranking top 10

I am from HK - does this help?
I know that a lot of kids are a lot better than me who will be applying next year.

I'm applying to Choate too!!
What's your GPA and SSAT average? I can't really get a full picture without those.

And your post was right below mine and it said Choate- Choate? :)

Caitlin, what were your SSATs? And how are you ranked in tennis? Top ten nationally? Or state/region?

I play squash too! What are you ranked?

I'm sorry, but being from Hong Kong can make it even more difficult to get into a good school. There are tons of hardworking and succesful Asian students who apply to these schools and only so many can get in.

dont give up hope, i applied from hong kong and got into exeter, hotchkiss, choate, loomis.. i think i didnt get into either deerfield or andover(one of them i forgot)
and waitlisted at taft (LMAO) LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
and my stats wasnt that amazing

also, if u want to play competitive tennis at the very very top team, think hotchkiss..but saying this as a hong konger, hotchkiss is pretty rural and is the complete opposite of hong kong so u might not be very used to this kind of environment
