Choice app vs common app?

So I had the option of doing the choice app with the fee waiver or the common app with the fee waiver and I went the common app route as all of my other schools are common app. I didn't realize that the choice app would be different with more in depth questions like who's your favorite literary character and whatnot. Do you think this will affect my application? I'd presume they'd rather see their choice app instead, and I think it probably shows more of a desire to go there? Now I'm worried it's going to look like I don't have interest in their school and that I only applied because it was free and early which is not true. Other wise here are my stats:

-first generation female
-suburban Ohio
- fluent in Romanian, moderate Spanish
- rank 3/690 (I'm only .1 away from being val!)
-4 APs senior year, hardest courseload out of anyone in my class for sure
-29 ACT highest, but waiting on October. I've only sent my 29 there but I have other test dates that show up on my transcript that would amount to a super score of 31. I have a 29, 28, 29 composites so at least I'm consistent? ;)
-4.0 uw
-blah blah blah

So what do you guys think? Do my stats make up for not applying with a choice app? Do I have a shot still?

I don’t think it matters, my daughters did the common app one (free) and their brother did it 4 years ago (and got in) I don’t think if they offer both, they care, they know it’s easier to do it all in one place.
You have good scores/grades and being first generation gives a small edge. Money though is hard at Fordham, but I think you have a good chance of admission.

Thanks for the feedback! I wasn’t aware about the money, that’s a bummer :frowning: Did any of your kids go there?

No, it was about 3rd in my son’s list but he only got about 15,000 with award, W.Study and loans included in that and it wasn’t enough.

I understand, I’m sure he’s happy wherever he went though!

Yes, luckily most are. Good luck to you!
