Choice between calarts and sva

Hi. I am from India and want to do media studies as undergraduate in the US. I have been accepted at Calarts (photography and media) and SVA (Advertising) and am totally confused as which is the better option. Both the courses are rated highly. The advantage of Calarts is they have a great campus and encourage collaborative works between programs, and the advantage is SVA is NYC. I guess NYC would be a lot less lonelier initially as I am an international student and do not really know anyone. Any suggestions?

Cal Arts, although well outside of Los Angeles proper, has unique connections to the arts/advertising community in LA.

SVA is seen locally as less of a uni and more of a trade school.

Have you looked into Art Center in Pasadena?
For advertising, they are produce some of the most hire-able, desirable graduates from most any single school.
