choices: ed to ivy league?

<p>hello everyone, would it be a good idea to ed to stanford or upenn if my stats are:</p>

<p>Classic Taiwanese, second generation, middle income bracket, ohio</p>

<p>GPA: 4.53 (weighted), which puts me in top 1% of my class of 684 (5/684)</p>

<p>Course workload: heaviest
skipped physics I and went to physics II AP
next year i will be skipping french 1 2 and 3 and going straight into french 4AP</p>

English Lit
English Language
Spanish 4 Language
Spanish 5 Literature

Calculus
Statistics</p>

<p>SATII: 800 math II
790 chemistry
800 physics</p>

<p>ACT: 35</p>

<p>PSAT: 219 (80 math, 70 reading, 69 writing)</p>

<p>SAT: 2370 (770 cr, 800 math, 800 writing)</p>

<p>Volunteering: around 200 hours</p>

<p>EC: tennis, cross country, science olympiad, science bowl, club soccer</p>

<p>Job experience: Engineering intern for 2 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (2005-2006)</p>

<p>Summer camps: ohio supercomputing center summer institute (2004)
LEAD summer business institute (2006)</p>

<p>or would it just be a better idea to rd to everything and see what i can get? my mom wants me to apply early for upenn, but i want to do that for stanford, but im not sure if its worth it to do it at all... thanks</p>

<p>do EA if you can. Your stats are good enough for many schools.</p>

<p>Also, use Chinese instead of Taiwanese since Taiwan is a province of China. It would be odd if someone used Shanghainese or Guangdongnese.</p>
