<p>I'm an Indian National, who will be applying in ~Nov,2012 (as an international) for an undergrad in Engineering/Computer Science, fall semester (2013).</p>
<p>Background:</p>
<p>I lived in San Jose, California for 7 years, from KG to 5th grade, before moving back to India.
However, I had a green-card, which has since expired, so no citizenship.
Presently, I'm attending a private high school, in India.
I'm starting my senior year this month.</p>
<p>About Me:</p>
<p>SAT 1 - 2170 (700/760/710) - 96th percentile (May scores)
SAT 2 - Will take it in October - Physics, Math 2, maybe Math 1 too?
GPA (/4.0) - 11,12th - 3.8 & 9,10 - 4.0
Rank - Top 5%, class of 90 students, So I rank in the top 3.
In my Junior+Senior years-
Core Subjects - Math, Science,Physics,Chemistry
Languages - English, Hindi
--Subjects are comparable or at higher levels than US equivalent APs.</p>

-Okinawa Karate - Black Belt (9 years - since 2nd grade in the US)

-National Interactive Science Olympiad - National Rank 53 (1 year)
-On school Science and Literature (debate,spelling,essay) competition teams. (throughout high school)
-On School Basketball and Handball teams (throughout High School)
-In student council/government - 9, 10th grade
-House Vice-President - in 9th grade
-House President - in 10th grade
-Won numerous school-level, inter-school-level Debate, Essay and Speech Competitions
-Won various other competitions - Science & English mainly (throughout High School)

-GATE, California student - when I was in the US. Also, was on student council and peace-keepers committee.</p>
<p>What else can I do to improve my resume for an undergrad? - in Engineering/Computer Science. I have about ~6 months to application time.</p>
<p>Can you recommend any colleges that I might have a good chance of getting into, with Financial Aid? I might consider colleges which fit my budget without FA, but only if their degrees have reasonable value-for-money and recognition. My budget is around 15,000$ p.a. Cost of Attendance.</p>
