LIPA,Point Park or University of Arizona?

I’ve been looking into the UK schools, and have heard great things about LIPA. But there are a ton of questions that come with going to school abroad…do you know of any other Americans who are there?

DS has a friend at Arizona. It was not her first choice, but it was a choice and now that she is there she loves it! Expensive, but as long as she can swing the cost, she plans to stay.

Lipa seems like a great program but I have heard negatives about Liverpool I am going across the pond to have a look plus audition for Guildhall in London so I can at least compare, the costs of these schools seem to be less then here but room and board are more.

Seems people keep away from Arizona due to their cut system!

RE: UK schools…many of them are 3 years, not 4, so you save money that way, too. LIPA seems to have the most info of all UK schools about having ex-pats like Americans attend, and it seems like they have a big international community.

Please do read about the cut program at University of Arizona on this forum. I’m sure you can search it out. My impression is that it is very drastic and particularly nonsensical, and I would have trouble reasoning spending the money to send a freshman there who might just get started, and after all the cost, be possibly cut in the following years, with no regard to the talent he/she was admitted with.

How about Marymount Manhattan vs. SUNY Fredonia vs. Wright State (D1 still wait listed at Wright State… but wondering just in case:)

I’m a Fredonia student and immensely biased in favor of Fred! Showgirlsmama, if you want to PM me questions, I can answer them for you.
