Choices!

hi,
I'm a student (16) in the UK, and in about a week i have to make a decision on the five subjects i want to continue next year for my A levels. Im almost 100% certain that I want to do engineering at university, but I'm not sure which exact field. However, the subjects I choose should be reflective of this to some extent. For example, if I know right now that I'll definitely end up doing ChemE, it would be more beneficial for me to do biology as a subject; but if I already know that I'll do, say, CompSci, then it would help more for me to do computing. my other four A levels, which I'm certain about, are:

Mathematics
Further Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry

I'm aware of what each different form of engineering entails, but I would appreciate your views on where engineering is heading in the next 20/30 years or so, and which specific branches would yield best career opportunities. Incidentally, I'm very interested in physics and maths and wouldn't mind continuing these to a higher level, but as far as I'm aware the job opportunities for these fields are rather poor. Likewise, I'm interested in aspects of computer science but outsourcing seems to be a major problem. And hopefully I won't be using Engg as a stepping stone to I-banking!

bump......

Do you really need the two maths? Drop the "normal math" and take computer science and biology.

well its complicated but in effect you can't do further maths without the "normal" maths.

but i would be interested in everyones opinions on where engineering might be headed in the next 20/30 years or so to help me decide
