I have basically 3 different sets of fin aid.

A full ride to ohio state, with 2k of work study/yr

4k/yr loans, 2.5k/yr work study, the rest paid at case

31k/yr in grants at tufts(/cornell/harvey mudd/JHU/NWU too hopefully), around 5k/yr in loans, the rest I must pay

My question is which seems to be the most value? Saying that work study is 0, I have OSU + $0 vs. Case + $16k (at the least) vs. bunch of better schools + $32k+ (at the least). I want to go to grad school and my parents are paying nothing. I don't want to go to Case because I want to go to a better school and want to get away. But, the facta that my uncle's company is a block away (engineering internship and hopefully job eventually), it's 30 minutes from home, and the amount I have to pay is really low make it appealing. What do you all think?

i don't know too much about engineering, but i'm guessing that any sort of undergraduate college you go to has to be somewhat decent in engineering (which case is decent in). and if you're considering continuing your eduation for engineering, i'd suggest saving up money. but really, it depends how badly you want to go the better schools, and if it is worth 32000 in aid.
