I have a decision to make. I want to go to Michigan to major in business. I know Michigan is rolling and ive been told that you get more scholarship opportunites and a better chance of acceptance the earlier you apply. I would like to attend Michigan but would also like to be a PA or even, if very lucky, a direct admit into Ross School of Business. My only problem holding me back from applying earliest is I would like to raise my SAT score (2060) or my ACT Score (31) in order to have a better opportunity for PA or DA. I am first in my class, good EC's, just low standardized tests scores. Should I apply early for better chance of acceptance, or wait till later for better chance of PA or DA, but less scholarship opportunites and less chance for acceptance, if i am not as qualified as i think i am?

Apply early. Take tests as soon as possible. They'll review the tests as they get them.

What do you mean by a direct admit into Ross? You can't attend the school right out of HS. You can be a PA and attend after one year.

Yes you can <a href="http://rossbba.blogspot.com/2004/10/announcing-new-3-4-year-bba-program.html%5B/url%5D">http://rossbba.blogspot.com/2004/10/announcing-new-3-4-year-bba-program.html</a></p>

That entry was written in 2004. Since then, they have integrated a PA system, but not a DA system.

Alright, Calcruzer also told me, and I was going more based off his assumption. Thanks for the clarification. Do I have a good chance of being admitted with PA btw?

first in your class? i think you have a great shot at a pa

From what I understand showing a genuine interest for studying business carries significant weight on admission into Ross as a PA. I believe if you write a strong essay, your chances at admission increase substantially.
