choices...

ok.. so i am an international applicant and i've gotten into hillsdale... my aim is to do an mba from a top school in the US... so now i am really confused... is it better to do an undergraduation here in the US in a LAC or do a bba in my home country? is it possible to get good jobs with as an econ major in the US?

What kind of jobs interest you?

How are you planning to work in the US if you’re an international?

Did you apply to any business schools in the US?
Going to a LAC for undergrad can be good if you’re going to a very prestigious college, otherwise it might not get you the job offers you want. It is possible for economics majors to get good jobs in the US.
The BBA in your home country will get you a good job in the US if it has strong ties to US companies that come to recruit there.

I am interested in management, administrative jobs. I am also interested in finance. However, I hope to discover more in course of time. Actually, I did not mean jobs in the US. I wanted to know whether it was possible to get jobs in my own country with an economics major from a college in the US. Guess I wasn’t clear. My main interest is to do my MBA from a top college in the US. So that’s what I am working towards. But I have nothing against working in the US after my UG, if I can get a good experience.

You didn’t disclose your home country, so how would we know?

Oh sorry I am from India.

But is a degree from the US generally more superior than any other anywhere?

I would think only if the college is known and respected in India.

I am pretty sure Hillsdale is not much known in India. So, will it be better for me to do my UG in my country?

Hillsdale is also not known in the States, so probably.

Well, Thank you very much  I am really grateful!
