All these schools accept common app, so i'm looking for the best 5 Engineering schools from THIS list.

thanx, reasons for selection are also welcome!!

Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Bucknell, Union and Lafayette from that list; also Lehigh accepts the Common App (with a rather detailed supplementary form) and should be considered --

University of Delaware does not take the Common Application, but its chemical or mechanical engineering program is ranked in the top ten in the nation....it might be a good safety to add.

Lehigh does use the common app and should be on your list of engineering schools.
Why so worried about using the common app? I used the Lehigh app and it was fine.

You should add the F.W. Olin College of Engineering to your list. It is very very small but I would rank it as the top engineering school out of all the schools on your list. It is located in Wellesley,MA and was just created a few years back. I believe all candidates recieve a full-scholarship to the school because admission is so ridiculously competitive. I think the average SAT is near 1500 so it is not an easy task to get in but you should definetely look into as it is an amazing school. Overtime the name will grow and people will start to recognize it.

You can't rule out Virginia Tech!!! Your list is mostly private/small schools. While some of those schools offer excellent engineering schools, I am partial towards the public schools

oops those schools accept the common app EXCLUSIVELY,
