In addition to fit, comfort, curriculum/academics - Cost, location, graduation rate, average class size, career services/graduate placement, overall size… Then depending on interest - research opportunities, greek life, sports, college town…
Personally, I first look at location. I know that i want to be in a city or close to a city as it’s so much easier to get internships, volunteer work, and if you are going for pre-med, clinical work! (Not to mention if you get cabin fever it gives you a place for you and your friends to hang out and explore). Definitely the fit and comfort, college visits totally help with that. Academics are important, and also the clubs and organizations that they offer, social life, etc.
